According to data collected by Mixpanel’s iOS 14 adoption tracker, less than seven months after the release of iOS and iPadOS 14, an estimated 90% of compatible iPhones and iPads now have iOS installed. In February, Apple said iOS 14 had been installed on 86% of all the devices it launched over the past four years. Now, more than a month later, the installed base continues to grow by about 4%.
According to Mixpanel, iOS 14’s adoption rate is hovering around 90%, with the numbers fluctuating.
IOS 14 was released in September as a significant update to iOS, bringing new widgets to the home screen, the app library, and other system-wide changes, such as a new Siri and caller UI.
According to Apple, iOS 14 was installed on 72 percent of active iPhones in the months after its release in December, indicating a high level of excitement about upgrading to the new software.
